Designed to help you make the most of your storage when space is at a premium, this 150 x 75 x 30cm shelving unit is shorter and narrower than our standard racking, making it perfect for the shed, or smaller cupboards you need to organise.

This freestanding unit has five tiers of shelves that are completely adjustable, allowing you to set up your racking to accommodate your goods easily, and with full additional shelves available to buy here, you can create the perfect shelving system for your needs.

As with all of our shelves, all you'll need to build this unit is a rubber mallet (sold separately) to easily and securely tap the metal framework together, with the boltless design meaning you won't need any screws or additional fixings in order to create a rack that can hold 175kg of evenly distributed weight per shelf (875kg per five tier unit).

The framework is made using a 0.8mm corrosion-resistant steel frame, powder-coated black, with 5mm thick moisture-resistant MDF boards for the shelves themselves.

If you are using your shelving in an area of high damp or humidity, or if there's a chance that they might become wet, then you should paint or varnish your MDF boards with any oil-based wood finish product to add further protection. Ensuring use in a ventilated area is also recommended.

Excellent

Always excellent. Needed a smaller rack for garage shelving and these are excellently constructed and incredibly study with a high weight capacity. Have many G-racks that I bought about 5ys ago and are still going strong- (the outlet/ depot is actually up the road and Ive been there to pick up a couple in the past and the guy in charge is great. He contacted me when I ordered my first ones to see if I could pick them up as I was only a few miles away which was better for everyone - saved him delivery, saved me the hassle of not being in) so these are highly recommended and the only racks I would ever buy.

Awesome cheap shelves, treat the wood though!

Great shelving, easy to assemble. Comes in a small but heavy little package (15kg).To all those reviews about the shelf moulding issues......Theyre untreated, cheap mdf style baseboards, theyre sturdy....very sturdy when set into the shelf, but theyre still untreated, bare "wood" (i use the term wood very loosely, theyre essentially compressed cardboard shavings & PVA).You need to treat any bare type of wood if using outdoors, sheds, garages etc.Paint it, varnish it, wax it....just seal it somehow.I always use Tung Oil as I love the smell. Your wood will be treated, your shelves wont get mouldy & go rotten.Hope this helps.

Excellent shelving

These brilliant shelves tick all the boxes. I assembled them myself. Had 5. Initially I found it hard. Bought a rubber mallet for the job.By the fourth set Id realized one of the keys to assembling them is to keep the insert piece flat. Some of the receiving slots were a little tight, probably due to paint, so I used a flatheaded screwdriver to gently ease them a little wider.Very important not to try to tap them in place unless theyre absolutely lined up. If you try to do it and one is inadvertently over the slot, it bends them up and becomes a challenge to rectify. But this is nothing to do with the manufacture. Operator error!!!I got into a routine and had mastered the process well by the last ones.Great idea. Shelves holding various items well. Highly recommend
